Itinerary

Friday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Harrogate. With its handsome historic buildings and verdant gardens, Harrogate is one of Yorkshire's most elegant destinations. There will be some free time before checking in at the hotel.

Saturday: Today we depart the hotel for a visit to Pickering for the Wartime & 1940s Weekend. Whether you want to dress up in period costume and get involved, or just do some sightseeing, it is an excellent festival and fantastic fun.

Sunday: This morning we board the coach and head to York for some free time. Explore 2000 years of history, from the ancient walls of Roman York to the Viking remains of JORVIK and the grandeur of Georgian York Parliament and Coney Street are home to the high street favourites. If shopping is your thing, be sure to visit Coppergate – where archaeologists unearthed remains from the Viking city of Jorvik. Stonegate and Swinegate are home to a mix of stores hidden amongst medieval and Georgian architecture. We leave here mid-afternoon before arriving back at the Travel Centre late afternoon.
