A Great Merseyside Experience

Tuesday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way northwest, making a comfort stop en route, arriving in Liverpool around midday. Free time can be spent around Albert Dock, forming part of the UNESCO World Heritage Waterfront Site, the Albert Dock is one of the country’s top heritage attractions, boasting museums, galleries, restaurants and bars. Tate Liverpool stages international exhibitions of the best in modern art. Liverpool is a shopper’s paradise and visitors are spoilt for choice at the gleaming city centre shopping mall, Liverpool One. In the afternoon we meet our coach to check in at the hotel. After dinner, both evenings can be spent at leisure.

Wednesday: This morning after breakfast we meet our guide for a tour of Liverpool on our coach. We will see some of the most famous sights Liverpool has to offer. The rest of the day is yours to do as you please.

Thursday: After breakfast this morning, we make our way to Pier Head See Liverpool's most iconic sights aboard the world-famous Mersey Ferry. This 50-minute River Explorer Cruise takes in the best views along the riverside. Guided by expert commentary throughout the trip, the River Explorer Cruise offers stunning views of Liverpool's skyline. As you relax and take in the views you will be captivated as the rich and fascinating history of the UNESCO World Heritage Waterfront unfolds before you. After, we visit The Beatles Story where we are transported on an incredible immersive journey as the museum tells the story of how four young lads from Liverpool were propelled to the dizzy heights of fame and fortune from their humble childhood beginnings.

Replicas of the Casbah, Mathew Street, Abbey Road Studios and The Cavern authentically capture the early '60s, allowing you to personally experience the very places that helped make The Beatles the greatest band in the world.

Hear the story unfold through the complimentary ‘Living History’ audio guides. With special exhibitions, authentic memorabilia and exclusive photographs, there is all this and much more at this award-winning attraction.
